Lumens.
400 Watt High Pressure Sodium with Hortilux Lamp is rated at 55,000 initial

The Light Concentrator Hood is powder coated white. A long life spectral pebble relector is attached inside the light weight but strong steel hood. This is a high quality Reflector Hood which spreads your light evenly and eliminates hot spots. The combination of steel hood with Spectral Insert ensures that the light reflector has good resistance to the denting and bending which creates hot spots and uneven lighting characteristic of cheap reflectors. This system is built to last for years; it is built to be used.
The spectral insert reflector features a center ridge for longer bulb life.
The hood, itself, weighs about ten pounds.
