The Quality Control in manufacturing these lights is the toughest in the industry.

Quality Control Measures


There are four separate quality control measures performed at the factory on each and every growlight.

Step #1 Each unit is test fired by the person who assembled it before sending it down the production line.

Step #2 Each unit is tested with a high-potentiometer to ensure quality, electrical continuity, and proper functioning.

Step #3 One last quality check is made before the growlight is packaged. The quality of construction and powder coating is inspected, correct labelling is verified, and the unit is test fired for a second time.

Step #4 An in-line digital scale verifies the contents of each box matches the weight of the unit marked on the box.




High Temperature Capacitors

The weak link in an HID Growlight is the capacitor. The Standard capacitor heat rating (used in most other growlights) is about 90 degrees Centigrade. The Growlights The 3R Lighting Co. sells use capacitors rated at 100 degrees Centigrade.*
