High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) grow lights.
All Lights come with FIVE year Warranties on the ballasts; one year warranty on the bulbs.
The Standard Hoods are made from High Quality, 22 gauge, American Steel. They are powder coated to 2.5-3.5 mils, then Spectral Inserts are installed in the hood. Built for many years of trouble-free service. These hoods can stand a little contact with the real world without tweaking and creating hotspots when shining light on your plants.
The Standard Ballasts are encased in high quality extruded aluminum a full tenth of an inch thick and powder coated. They are sealed and UL Certified for use in damp locations (like a growroom where plants are watered). All components and wiring are the highest quality--all US made components and wiring. All ballasts feature a special High Temperature Capacitor for long ballast life. Built for many years of trouble-free service.

Please Note: The 1000 Watt Growlights and 400 Watt Growlights use a separate ballast box and a remote hood. The Compact 250 Watt and Compact 100 Watt Growlight use one unit made from 22 gauge, powder coated steel with the ballast enclosed. The Switchable and Super Spectrum Growlights have separate ballasts. The separate ballasts are sealed, made from powder coated, extruded aluminum, and are certified by Underwriter's Laboratories (UL Listed) for use in damp locations. This does't mean you can take the ballast and dunk it in a bucket of water, turn it on, and expect long-life. What it does mean is that if you happen to splash the ballast when the lights are on, there is some protection against smoking, burning up, and leaving your plants in the dark while you spend more money for another growlight. These are lights built by and for people who have years of experience growing indoors--some of the built in features come from hard-won experience. These growlights are built for many years of trouble-free service.
