The Super Spectrum Hoods are made from High Quality, 22 gauge, American Steel. They are powder coated to 2.5-3.5 mils, then Spectral Inserts are installed in the hood. The Super Spectrum Ballasts are encased in high quality extruded aluminum a full tenth of an inch thick and powder coated. They are sealed and UL Certified for use in damp locations (like a growroom where plants are watered). All components and wiring are the highest quality; all US made components and wiring.
