There are two each 15-inch large square pots with fitted drip trays for large plants like tomatoes or peppers. There are two long 24-inch pots with drip trays. Smaller insert pots are movable and fit right inside the long 24-inch pots for growing lettuce, spinach, parsley, oregano, basil, cilantro, or other herbs, etc. Using Square Container Pots is a good way to use limited space more efficiently.

These Square Containers fit right up against each other for efficient use of space.
The Pots measure about 5-inches by 5-inches square by about 6-inches deep holding over two quarts (a little over half a gallon). Enough space to grow lettuce, spinach, endive, arrugula and most herbs like cilantro, basil, parsely, oregano, dill, rosemary, chives, or others.

These smaller containers can be easily nested in Larger Decorator Planters like the 24-inch Long Planters. You can also rotate your herbs and plants in the smaller containers to take advantage of the sunny side of the Long Planter, or rotate show plants into the decorator planter for attractive displays.

This small kit contains NO potting soil. Soil is expensive to ship. You will need to buy potting soil from a local hardware store, supermarket, etc. One coir brick is included to lighten soil bought locally. The Smart Pot is less attractive than other pots, but functions very well when filled with a growing medium.
