Convenient Coir Bricks Packages-Best Quality Available
Coir Blocks and Block Packages
Growcoir is a natural fiber made from coconut husks. Sometimes called Coco Peat, these coconut bricks make an excellent growing medium for hydroponics, container plant growing, or outdoor gardening.
Clean coir has natural rooting hormones and has shown some anti-fungal properties, great for bioponics. Recycle the coir after the hydroponics, aeroponics, or container plants are harvested; the used coir makes an excellent addition to outdoor garden mulch, completely organic. Use coir in both indoor gardening and outdoor cultivation.

Coir is excellent for potting soil mixes: 25% to 40% coir mixed with bagged potting soil or compost gives you a looser growing medium that holds water longer and is better for plants.

Red Label Coir Bricks

These bricks are made from a mix of compressed cocunut husk fibers and chunks. Same high quality coir. The rougher chunks mixed in creates more air pockets. Less perlite or growrocks are needed for aeration. Red Label Coir bricks are preferrred for growing epiphyte orchids or where a growing medium requires more air space, or for bird and animal nests.

The consistency of Red Label Coir is more similar to Sphagnum Peat Moss--more coarse, longer fiber strands.
